Creating Our First Game: The Bubuloo Story

Bubuloo didn’t start as a company project — it started as a parent project.

My little one never liked drawing. Every time I put crayons or pencils in front of him, he’d give it a try for a few seconds, then move on. I wasn’t too worried at first, but as preschool got closer, I knew that drawing wasn’t just about art — it was about preparing his hands and mind for writing, focus, and creativity.

So, one day, I decided to make something just for him. A little game that would make drawing feel like play. Something bright, simple, and fun — where he could trace shapes, color in pictures, and get excited about creating. That was the very first version of Bubuloo.

And it worked.
He loved it. He started asking to “play Bubuloo” on his own, and slowly, his pencil grip got better. He began holding crayons with confidence, tracing shapes carefully, and smiling at what he made. Watching that progress felt like magic.

That’s when I realized — if it helped him, maybe it could help other kids too.

So, I decided to share Bubuloo with the world. Not as a big studio release, but as something made with love by a parent, for other parents. Every color, sound, and shape in the app is designed to spark curiosity and confidence — safely, with no ads, no subscriptions, and no distractions.

Today, when I see my child still enjoying Bubuloo, I feel proud and grateful. What started as a small idea to help one kid learn to draw has turned into something that reaches many.

Bubuloo was made because of my child — and now, it’s for yours too. 💛
